The visual identity design project for Valens Beton was particularly engaging due to its historical background. The inspiration for the project came from Valens’ aqueduct, named after the Eastern Roman emperor who was born in the area of today’s Vinkovci — the same region the client comes from.
Modern typography, minimalist design, and a bold logo reflect the strength of this brand. I chose a monochromatic palette with nuanced shades of grey, inspired by the diversity of concrete elements the company produces. The initials V and B are integrated into a stylized monogram, inspired by the graceful arches of the historic Valens Aqueduct, which still defines the skyline of Istanbul today.
